For the Out With the Old I used my regular style, very simple coloring with non-fancy crops. In case you were wondering, the "Dare" icon is a reference to the fact that Gandalf is daring Bilbo to come on an adventure.
For the In With the New I tried to be far more complex, playing around with coloring and composition. The challenege icons are where I challenged myself to do something fancy.

May. 29th, 2011 10:31 pmThe category set is an attempt to chart Gandalf's story through all the movies, from when we see him first, to him getting captured by Sarumon and escaping to defeating the Balrog and becoming Gandalf the White to defeating Sarumon to going Into The West. I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to see the movies again. I can't no, because it makes me think of another series, which makes me miserable (Bradon Sanderson is mean. That's all I have to say). Anyway! These are some of my favourite Gandalf moments. Enjoy. :)
